Controller Guide
A controller is optional. Every race-day start can be triggered with the large on-screen touch controls.
-
1. Pair in iOS Settings
Put a compatible Bluetooth or MFi game controller into pairing mode, then connect it from iOS Settings. Keep the controller awake before opening the race dashboard.
-
2. Map and test buttons
Open an event and use the controller mapping and input-test tools. Choose deliberate buttons and verify each input before race-day operation.
-
3. Run the Ready Check
Before starting, confirm the start list, start mode, first planned time, controller status, countdown cues, reference clock, battery, and screen auto-lock status.
-
4. Keep touch as the fallback
If the controller disconnects or behaves unexpectedly, continue with the on-screen Start control. Timing remains local and does not depend on the controller or network.
Controller features are part of Rally Start Timer Pro, available as a one-time in-app purchase with no subscription or recurring charge.
