1. About Rally Start Timer

Rally Start Timer is an iPhone and iPad app that helps organizers and marshals manage start lists, planned start times, live triggers, recovery actions, and exports for regularity rally, TSD, GLP, and club events. The app stores event data locally on your device unless you export it.

2. Eligibility

You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use Rally Start Timer. If you use the app on behalf of a club or event organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. License to use Rally Start Timer

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Rally Start Timer on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these Terms and Apple’s App Store rules.

• You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the app’s source code except where law allows.
• You may not redistribute, rent, or sublicense the app.
• You may not use Rally Start Timer for unlawful purposes or to interfere with events, competitors, or officials.

4. Free version and Pro purchase

The free version of Rally Start Timer supports one event with up to six start items in manual or sequential mode. A one-time in-app purchase unlocks Rally Start Timer Pro features such as unlimited events, higher entrant limits, all start modes, controller tools, advanced recovery, CSV workflows, templates, accuracy reports, PDF exports, and backups.

Prices, taxes, and availability are shown in the App Store at the time of purchase. Pro is a non-subscription, non-recurring purchase unless we clearly state otherwise in the paywall. Refunds are handled by Apple under App Store policies.

5. Your event data and responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of start lists, planned times, triggers, and exports you create with Rally Start Timer. The app is a timing and start-control tool — it does not replace official event regulations, safety briefings, or sanctioning-body rules.

Because data is stored locally, you are responsible for backing up important events using the app’s export features and for securing your device.

6. No official timing guarantee

Rally Start Timer is provided to assist organizers and marshals. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or accepted as official timing by any sanctioning body. Always verify critical starts and results according to your event rules.

7. Intellectual property

Rally Start Timer, its branding, and associated website content are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or content beyond the limited license above.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, event results, or goodwill arising from your use of Rally Start Timer — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Changes to Rally Start Timer or these Terms

We may update the app or these Terms from time to time. Material changes to the Terms will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
